Workamajig News

Workamajig, a leading worldwide integrated software for ad agencies and other service design professions has added “Web to Lead,” a new premium feature to its popular project management groupware software. The new feature automatically adds leads into the Workamajig database from client’s marketing websites. The latest update also takes care of full support for Apple’s latest Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard update, all supported in Workamajig 10.0.2.7.

Users of the Workamajig Project Management Software are now able to make simple modifications to their web site, and when someone fills out a web form expressing interest, the form information is automatically added to the Workamajig database. To learn more visit them online here.

Workgroups 2010

Continuing along with project management software news, MetaCommunications has recently announced the immediate availability of Workgroups 2010, a major upgrade to its collaborative process and productivity management software suite for marketing, creative design, packaging and prepress workgroups.

Working on a base of four core modules, this latest update adds hundreds of new features and improvements. These new features include a powerful Document Organizer, a simple browser-based proofing tool, and an integrated Developer Center community website.

The powerful Document Organizer allows users to drag-and-drop any piece of digital media, including files, emails, scanned documents and attachments, into Workgroup 2010.

Group Logic Announces ArchiveConnect

Group Logic launches ArchiveConnect allowing organizations with Macs to take advantage of file archiving with ArchiveConnect. Several of modern Mac’s advanced usability features such as file previewing, Quick Look, Cover Flow, trigger mass recalls of archived files. These systems can put tremendous strain on both file servers and file archiving systems and make it nearly impossible to achieve the benefits offered by file archiving with Macintosh computers in an enterprise.

ArchiveConnect solves this problem with a light-weight Mac client that ensures that the Mac’s advanced usability features do not adversely affect archived files and cause unnecessary file recalls.

Benefits include up to 80 percent reduction in hardware storage costs, minimized backup time and recovery time, and increases in user productivity. You can watch a demo of this new product here. To learn more visit Group Logic online here.
