IMSI/Design has announced the release of their IDX Renditioner rendering module product add-on for Google’s popular SketchUp application. IDX Renditioner adds the ability to SketchUp to produce fast, high-quality photo-realistic rendering. It is designed for novices but powerful enough for professionals.

“The simplicity and speed of IDX Renditioner lets professionals quickly achieve their design visualization objectives,” said Bob Mayer, Chief Operating Officer of IMSI/Design. “Emotionally powerful renderings of up to 16 megapixels means large printed output can be used for customer presentations.”

IDX Renditioner works directly in SketchUp and allows the user to apply materials (textures) to model objects as well as design scene lighting for the rendering. Environmental settings increase realism by adding natural lighting effects (cloudy, hazy, twilight are some examples). IDX Renditioner renders especially fast on multi-core and multi-CPU machines with its new multi-threading support. It is currently the only photo-realistic rendering plugin (add-on) for both the Mac and Windows versions of SketchUp.

Pricing is 199.95.USD. For more information visit:www.IDX-design.com
