DAZ 3D, a leading developer of professional 3D models and software has announced this month that Hexagon 2.5, the newest version of its popular 3D polygonal and subdivision modeling software is now available. Hexagon 2.5 delivers a robust set of 3D tools for various 3D artists. “DAZ 3D has always been committed to providing applications that allow greater flexibility,” said Dan Farr, President of DAZ 3D.

Hexagon 2.5 offers a sculpted primitive tool allowing users to model and import 3D objects into Second Life®, new enhanced UV-mapping tools, freehand brush modeling and new ultra-fast ambient occlusion. Hexagon 2.5 models can be exported out into many 3D rendering programs, including DAZ Carrara and others.
